This company should be sued for Negligence, Theft and over charging

I called the company and explained I was going out of town in January and would not be home until April and that they should suspend my service until I return. I was informed that I could not suspend service that I would be put on vacation list or something like that! It would cost me $20 a month instead of $90 a month so I took that option. Well they still billed my credit card and after a lengthy recorded (I recorded) conversation with very rude Crystal G. I had the service terminated and told them to come get their stuff. I wonder how many people they do that to? If anyone out there has had as bad or worse experience and would like to file a class action lawsuit, I am willing to participate. a

I can't stand them after two, years I'm glad to be going back to bright house as my cable an Internet service wild blue Hugh gen they are all thieves they make you pay twice the about for slow limted sucky Internet you can't stream or anything on their service because of the data I'm glad to have unlimited data again because I'm big streamer it has sucked last 2 years me an my family plan was up now after the two years they saw we owe them 177$ cancellation fee, thankfully the rest of my family sick of them so we will cancel are one card and won't be giving them ***!!

I've had wildblue/excede for almost 3 years, only because I'm rural and it's my only option until they run cable. One problem I had is when I wanted to downgrade my plan, they kept telling me I couldn't do it mid cycle and had to call the day it renews. Tried it 3 times and tried it online(got an email stating "it couldn't be done at this time, try again later"...so that took a few months. My BIG complaint is the reason I downgraded. I was paying for the mid grade service for only about a weeks worth of data usage before it got throttled. Why pay that much??! So now I'm paying for the lowest data for about a weeks worth. And yes, everything is secure and I don't watch movies unless it is the midnight-5 am time period which is when I try to do all my upgrades for PC/phones/iPads. I realize they are trying to get their money while they can, but this is bull that these companies penalize the rural customers. I can do more on my cellphone service then I can excede. Which I am looking in to other options, as in an unlimited cellphone data plan to use as a hotspot.

Horrible company - . 1) 3 weeks late for install 2) installer scheduled for 10am but he showed up at 7pm 3) installer hit on me but I am not ***. Not professional at all 4) after 10 days of service they disconnected service for lack of payment but I had not received the bill yet 5) after 60 days they charged my debit card $1398 - all my money 6) on the first call they said I only owed $144.99 and they would correct it and it would take 3-5 days for the refund 7) 5 days later they tell me I was misinformed and it will be 7-14 days 8) 14 days later I call and am told the refund was processed wrong and they had to start over - new 3-5 days I was told 9) 5 days later I call and am told I was misinformed and it will be 7-14 days 10) Now it is day 13 and still no refund. They said it could be one more day but I am not holding my breath this time 11) I am a single parent of a special needs child and also have 4 dogs and we spent Christmas with no money and no dog food for the last week. They have no regard for their customers. Luckily my bank said they will return the money but only after 21 business days so because of Wild Blue I will be without any money for over a month. Not acceptable or professional.

So "all of your money" was $1398. You are looking after a child and have FOUR dogs.

You spent Christmas with no money and didn't have dog food for them. Fair enough.

YET YOUR SPLASHING OUT ON GETTING NEW INTERNET? And if money is that tight, give away the dogs. Give them to a home where their owner can afford to buy food for them.

Maybe if your only feeding 2 mouths instead of 6, and not splashing out on fancy new internet you wouldnt be so out of money.

You could have even bought a piece of ham from the deli had a Merry Christmas. Get some common sense aye?

I started with Wild Blue was with the company several years. Either them or dial up. Everytime the wind blew, rain ,snow or someone passed gas it dropped signal. Constantly recyclinng. I รงhanged to Dish a few months ago no longer have that problem

I had this AWFUL service for two years via Directv. WORST INTERNET SERVICE EVER!!! UNLIMITED IS A RIP OFF TOO. If you don't do unlimited they charge you like crazy. I finally was at the end of my contract, after I had to reset my internet constantly bc it turned off at the blink of an eye. They said call us the day you are cancelling. NOT A SCHEDULE DATE, NOT THE END OF THE BILLING CYCLE. THEN IF YOU CANCEL ONE DAY INTO A BILLING CYCLE THEY FULLY CHARGE YOU FOR THE ENTIRE BILLING CYCLE. They don't tell you this EVER!!! DIRECTV SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES. Also when you call they can barely pull up your account bc THEY ARE HAVING INTERNET ISSUES. Worst customer service EVER~~~

Technical Support Review

Very poor service. Called because the modem went out. Tech was supposed to come out but never showed. Have been without service for 4 days so far. Have family funeral tomorrow and a 3 day holiday weekend begining the next day. So when will I see a tech. Yet they will still expect payment. I DO NOT RECOMEND WILDBLUE/VIA STAT!!!!!!!

I went online to make a payment and the system automatically took out two payments. I called the company to inform them of this matter and they told me that I had to wait 7 to 14 days to receive my money back. The is a bunch of bull seeing that it only took 2.5 seconds for them to get my money. Please be very careful when dealing with this company especially when making a payment. I can't call them and ask that they wait 7 to 14 days for me to pay my bill with them. The want their money when the bill is due so, I want my money.

To anybody who is thinking of doing business with a new internet company, I advise you to STAY AWAY from WildBlue - Viasat! This company is a crook. First they told me that they couldn't schedule service at my new address until within a month of my move. Then when I called back within a month they claimed that they couldn't schedule service until a week from my move date. Then they said that I had to sign a new two year contract. This wouldn't be so bad if they service was just plain awful. The speed is slow their customer service people can also be described with the same word. I advise anyone and everyone to stay away from this company like the plague because they are thieving rats and rats carry the plague! Please pass this on

I have the excede wild blue. Nothing but problems from day 1. Such slow speed its hard to have 2 devices on. Can't download any thing from direct tv. On demand. Also cant download anything from Netflix. Sometimes you can get Netflix after Midnight. Instalation and other fees were cahrged to start. They did say no instalation fees. They take out money for monthly bill, from my bank account i told them i wanted a monthly statement so i could pay and send a check. Nothing promised to me is working properly. Checked the speeds from system not even close to what they say. Just terrible service. Have to switch providers.

Faulty equipment, 95.00 service call, possible scam to upgrade

I emailed Wild Blue three weeks ago about my service being slow, received saying they would check into it and have heard from them. I get from vacation and it works for maybe an hour and now no connection whatsoever. I call them yesterday and they want to charge me a service fee of 95.00 to send someone out as it might be a bad modem or the satellite may be missed aligned. I think there is a scam going on here. If I enter into a NEW two year contract by upgrading, I can avoid the service fee as installation is free right now. I can also cancel my contract right now and pay 95.00, which is exactly what I might do. Who doesn't service THEIR LEASED EQUIPMENT? Wouldn't be easier to send me a new modem first? I think this is some sort of promo scam on their part. I want my service fixed...and I don't want to pay for THEIR FAULTY equipment. Totally irked right now.

Most unprofessional people I have ever spoken to. Not only are they trying to get me to pay them over $300 for cancelling a service that gets an interference from airport a couple blocks down, they won't even send a technician to check the obvious line of sight issue!!! So I'm supposed to pay for a service that is physically impossible to maintain and that technician should have spotted at the beginning??! It's highway robbery and I wish someone from headquarters knew what kinda of an illegal ring these people are running. I would NEVER recommend this satellite company to anyone!!

Exede/Wild Blue/Via Sat internet is the worst company I have ever encountered.

To start, the man who installed my service over a year and a half ago left his trash in my front yard. The service rarely ever worked - as in it would just stop working at random times and not come back on for hours, sometimes days, and it also wasn't very fast as we were promised. After FIVE service calls, I finally got a technician who knew what he was doing and after about an hour and a half of his time, I can finally say that my internet works the way it should. The problem? The Satellite equipment was not POINTED TOWARD THE SKY. Simple as that. Not only has the service itself been an issue, but from the very first payment there have been issues with being charged too much money or on the wrong day, therefore overdrawing my checking account at times. This has happened more times than I can count. The Customer Service Representatives have no clue what is going on. I have probably spoken to 3 people with this company in the last year who actually knew what they were doing. I have to call at least once a month and spend 30+ minutes on the phone with someone who seems to know what they are doing, to usually later find out that all they did was create more problems. For example, when I called about a technician coming to fix my service, they tried to make me pay an outrageous amount of money. After the woman looked back on my account and realized that I had had so many service calls and still had the same issues, she waived the fee. The same woman called me back after the technician had left to make sure everything was working correctly and to give me a monthly credit on my bill for ALL of the trouble I have had since day one. She was one of the few who I can say anything positive about. Unfortunately, I was not given the credit and actually charged $40 MORE, they overdrew my account AGAIN, and they refuse to give me the credits that I was expecting and had budgeted for as a single Mom working 68 hours a week at 2 jobs. My advice is to stay far, far away from this company and their "services". I'm switching to Hughes Net when my contract is up in March.

Via Sat and Exede are the same company.I have had to call many time and always have to start from scratch when I call!I've had service since Dec 18 but not the service I contracted for.I signed up for unlimited Internet and they are shutting us down at 5GB...our contract clearly states what we signed up for.They still charge the full amount,just aren't giving up full service.Now that I have seen so many complaints about being over charged I will need to take a look as I'm afraid I was very trusting with that.I am probably going to start a class action suit against this company if interested

I had no idea it was a cap internt. I have plent of options for internet in my area . They never asked how we use the intent to set us up with a certain GB plan. WE went over in 7 days and that while being at work all day and just facebooking and browsing the web at night.. no streaming movies or downloading anything. I tried to cancel a week in to the year contract due to the fact i was never informed of the usage deal. They wanted me to pay 300 dollars and climb on the roof and remove the huge dish that took a grown man to instill up there. This company had horrible customer service. They were rude and talked to me as if i were below them. They now sent me to collections and although i have money i refuse refuse to pay this company another cent. I almost canceled Direct tv for even referring this company to us!

I'm sorry to hear that satellite internet did not fit your household needs. The majority of internet providers have some type of data cap.

I apologize if this was not clear to you upfront. Facebook and web browsing, depending on your plan, will contribute to the consumption of your data. I hope that you were able to speak with a representative before disconnecting, as they could have helped you find ways to maximize your data. After making the decision to disconnect, we require a return of the leased equipment.

Again, I apologize for the misunderstanding, we are requesting the TRIA off the satellite dish, not the entire dish to be returned. Since the equipment is leased, if not returned you can incur a unreturned equipment charge. If your billing issues have not been resolved, please send me an email to exedelistens@***.com with your account and contact information.
